Today 1000 people gathered at Yoshinogari Historical Park in Saga, Japan for a very special event.

The one thousand young and old Pokemon fans assembled themselves to form a picture of Pikachu that can be seen from above. This is part of Team Rocket’s recruitment campaign that is currently taking place in Saga to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon anime.

Besides Pikachu, a hot air balloon featuring Team Rocket’s Meowth also took flight at Yoshinogari Historical Park today.
