Today, three new costumes have been added to Pokemon GO which can be obtained by attaining certain medals/achievements in game.

By attaining a gold medal for Jogging (walk Xkm), Angler (capture X number of Magikarp), or Battle (win X Gym Battles), players can receive a special costume to wear and show off their achievement. The costume is viewable in gym battle preparation menu and other areas of the game.
