Nintendo Will Be Releasing a System Update To Fix Fire Emblem: Three Houses Crashing For Expansion Pass Users
Recently, fans discovered that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will brick if you try to play it after you purchase the expansion pass.

But now, it seems that Nintendo seems to be aware of this issue as they will be releasing a system update for Nintendo Switch later today to fix it.

We are aware that some users who recently purchased the Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem: Three Houses are unable to start the game. A system update will be available later today to fix this. We apologize for the inconvenience.
