For the past few months, rumors and speculation has been swirling around the successor to the Nintendo Switch, which is set to be fully revealed sometime before March 2025.

To get ahead of the curve, it seems some sellers on the Chinese wholesale platform Alibaba have already started selling accessories for the console. As pointed out by users on Famiboards, these sellers have put up listings for cases and screen protectors for the “Switch 2”, which they claim were measured using the actual console. It is not uncommon for accessory manufacturers to receive molds for unreleased devices so that they can prepare their add-ons in advance, making the claim believable.

The screen protector and cases that are on sale are considerably larger than the base model Switch, which is in line with previous rumors about the Switch 2’s size. However, beyond this, there does not seem to be much new info to glean from these listings. Earlier this week, a video surfaced containing blurry footage of the Switch 2, showing off some of the new features included for the new console’s Joy-cons.

As with all rumors of this nature however, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
