Amazon Now Charging For Pre-Orders The Moment They Are Ordered In Europe

Today we have some bad news for those of you living in Europe who usually pre-order games from Amazon.

Amazon has changed the way they charge for pre-orders on their UK and Spanish websites. Customers have discovered that the company now charges their credit card (or certain payment methods, depending on country) the moment a pre-order is confirmed. Payment used to be charged the moment pre-orders shipped, rather than dispatched.

This has obviously made some gamers who are tight with cash unhappy. Although the changes haven’t applied to Amazon US, Amazon Canada, and Amazon Japan at this time, you can probably expect them to happen soon enough.
