Animal Crossing: New Horizons has cracked a major milestone on Amazon Japan today.

As of April 25, 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received over 11,000 customer reviews on Amazon Japan. It is the first Nintendo Switch game to do so. For comparison’s sake, Pokemon Sword has 6100 reviews, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has 3800 reviews, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has 2900, and Splatoon 2 has 3300 reviews.

Out of the 11,000 reviews Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received, 84% of reviews gave it 5 stars, 9% gave it 4, 3% of reviews gave it 3 stars, 2% awarded it 2 stars, and finally, 3% gave it 1 star. So overall the game has received widespread praise from Japanese customers.
