Yesterday, Nintendo published a TV commercial for Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Japan.

The commercial, which was uploaded on Twitter and Youtube, seems to be a huge hit among Animal Crossing fans. As of January 2, 2020, the video has been watched 4.9 million times and received 158,000 likes and 83,300 retweets:

On Youtube, the video received 539,000 views, 20,000 likes, and only 139 dislikes. So the commercial was watched 5.4 million times across Twitter and Youtube in a day.
