Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Limits Time Travel And Removes Popular “Camo” Glitch

Recently, Nintendo released the Winter Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which adds a number of new features to the game.

Following the update, players have discovered some interesting changes that were not officially mentioned in the update’s patchnotes. Firstly, a popular glitch (the “Camo” glitch) which allowed players to force items to take on any texture in the game, has been fixed. This means players will no longer be able to use exploit the bug to create impossible color combinations.

More critically, the update has reportedly placed a limit on the practice of Time Travel, and now only allows players to revisit past events by rewinding the Switch’s clock. Players can no longer move the clock forward to experience events such as Turkey Day or Toy Day ahead of time. Although players enjoying the game normally will not be affected, time travelers will no longer be able to jump ahead to explore new content early.
