ARMS Director Talks About ARMS Characters Appearing In Smash

With all the hype about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch, some may wonder if the characters from ARMS will make a guest appearance in it.

Speaking at GDC 2018, ARMS Director Kosuke Yabuki, answered a few questions, one pertaining to ARMS characters in Smash.

“I think the correct reaction is to say ‘I can’t answer that!’. Another thing I’d say is that Arms is so young — it’s only a year old — that maybe it’s too early to think about that. But I think it’s absolutely fantastic that there are people out there talking about Arms characters in that way.”

So while it may seem unlikely for ARMS characters to head to Smash, one can only hope for them to eventually rise up to the ranks and be officiated into the Smash roster.
