Media-Create has released its video games sales data for hardware and software sold in the land of the rising sun last week. Let’s take a look at how well ARMS and other Nintendo Switch titles have fared.

  1. ARMS (Switch) – 100,652 units
  2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) – 16,822 units
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) – 10,200 units
  4. Monster Hunter Double Cross (3DS) – 8,638 units
  5. Tekken 7 (PS4) – 5,407 units
  6. Iisu VIII -Lacrimosa of DANA- (PS4) – 4,697 units

  9. Nier Automa (PS4) – 3,198 units
  10. Pokemon Sun/Moon (3DS) – 2,971 units

ARMS debuted at 100,652 units, which is rather decent for a new IP from Nintendo. As for other Nintendo Switch games, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took 2nd and 3rd place, with 16,822 units and 10,200 units moved respectively. These evergreen titles are expected to continue to dominate the charts in months to come.

  1. Nintendo Switch – 37,709 units
  2. PS4 – 18,251 units
  3. New 3DS LL – 11,592 units
  4. PS4 Pro – 5,795 units
  5. Vita – 4,149 units
  6. 2DS – 2,655 units
  7. New 3DS – 815 units
  8. Xbox One – 308 units
  9. PS3 – 298 units
  10. Wii U – 199 units

As for Nintendo Switch itself, it continues to reign in first place in Japan. However there’s a bump of around 11k units from the previous week, which is most likely additional stock replenishment coinciding with the launch of ARMS, as the stock situation has been really bad.
