BioWare Regrets Releasing Mass Effect: Andromeda On Same Month As Zelda:BoTW

Mass Effect: Andromeda had quite a rough start when it was released, and it didn’t help that it was released in March 2017, the same month as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild.

Speaking to Game Informer, BioWare’s Executive Producer, Mark Darrah admitted that although Mass Effect: Andromeda had serious quality issues during its release, its close release schedule alongside 4 others strong games such as Nier: Automata, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild put it in a tight position, especially when it comes to reviews.

You launch the best game you can. MEA has a lot of problems and got lapped by genuinely better games.
