Bloomberg Claims Lockdowns In Malaysia And The Philippines Are Limiting Nintendo Switch Production

American media Bloomberg has published a report detailing what’s causing production issues with the Nintendo Switch amid the current coronavirus outbreak.

Bloomberg, through its sources, has reported that the lockdowns in Malaysia and the Philippines have caused problems for Nintendo as certain parts for the Nintendo Switch are manufactured in those countries. For instance, Malaysia supplies printed circuit boards (PCB) while the Philippines supplies passive components for the PCBs.

Depending on how long the lockdowns last, Nintendo Switch supply issues could be further constrained later this year.
