Capcom has released its 2025 Integrated Report, detailing the company’s latest performance and upcoming plans.
In a section of the report, COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto namedrops a number of franchises that will be receiving the company’s focus moving forward. Aside from their big earners Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter, Tsujimoto also mentions franchises that have not received much attention in recent years. This includes Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney, with Tsujimoto saying that “new releases, remakes, and ports of titles in these series to new hardware” are being planned.
Capcom owns a wealth of globally popular brands, such as Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney. We aim to expand our user base and improve our performance through new releases, remakes, and ports of titles in these series to new hardware. By enhancing brand power and cultivating loyal fan bases, we will grow these into core IPs.
These comments will likely serve as a source of hope for fans of these franchises, although we currently have no firm confirmation of any such games being released anytime soon. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
