Today, Nintendo broadcast their latest edition of FEH Channel – which covers more upcoming updates for Fire Emblem Heroes.
In particular, the game will be celebrating its 2nd birthday with a boatload of changes to difference modes. Namely, the game will be introducing Dragonflowers that boost your heroes’ stats, and will be making major adjustments to Aether Raids. Additionally there will be a total of 11 special summoning events for fans to pull their favorite heroes!

- Second anniversary being celebrated on Feb. 2nd, 2019
- 11 daily summoning events, running from 1 – 12 February 2019.
- Summon for the first time without using any orbs.
- Special heroes summoning event: guaranteed 5 star. Runs from 1 – 8 February 2019.
- Special heroes summoning event: guaranteed 5 star (heroes released Feb. 2018 and later). Runs from 8 – 15 February 2019.
- Find and Vote Heroes special mini game, with the No. 1 character for each color to be used in a special summoning event later.
- Voting can get you a special wallpaper.
- All heroes released through Jan. 2019 are eligible.
- Voting takes place 3 – 8 February 2019. You can vote once per day.
- 2nd Anniversary Heroes Summoning Event – select your type, and get the No. 1 hero as a 5-star unit.
- After your first summon, the No. 1 heroes will be available as focus heroes.
- Runs from 24 February 2019 – 24 March 2019.
- Next version update will allow you to change your home screen to new art
- Dragonflowers increase a hero’s stats
- 4 types of Dragonflowers: Infantry, Cavalry, Flying, and Armor
- There’s a limit on how many times you can use Dragonflowers
- Use Dragonflowers to strengthen any hero up to 5 times
- Infantry-type heroes released up until now can be strengthened an additional 5 times
- Obtain Dragonflowers from Heroic Ordeals
- Heroic Ordeals are maps created specifically for each hero
- You have to have the hero of that challenge on your team to take it on
- Defeat at least 2 enemies to have it count as a victory
- Clear the map to get Dragonflowers, with one time per map
- Dragonflowers and Heroic Ordeals will be part of the next update
- Aether Raids will change starting with the next season
- The highest AR tier will be bumped up to 27
- Earn Dragonflowers in Aether Raids
- Merge Allies is getting an update, with the first merge offering a higher stat bump
- The focus of the increase will be the stat the hero is weak in
- Heroes who don’t have a flaw, they’ll get a +1 to 3 of their stats
- Heroes who have already been merged will also see stats increase
