Closer look at the Monster Hunter XX Switch booth in France

Yesterday we reported about the presence of a Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch demo station at Japan Expo in France. Now that Japan Expo has officially opened its doors to the public, we have a closer look at how it looks like, thanks to Twitter user @cvxfreak.

Of course, the biggest question lingering inside everyone’s head is what does this demo station mean for Monster Hunter XX’s localization. From what we can tell, the game that is available for visitors to play is the Japanese version of the game.

@cvxfreak asked a Nintendo representative at the booth about Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, all he said was “”we are unable to comment on localization.”

It’s certainly a disappointing response. Perhaps the demo station that is at Japan Expo signifies the Japanese version of the game making its way to France in the future, if Capcom feels there’s a large enough fan base that understands Japanese.
