We have some unfortunate news for fans of barista-themed visual novel Coffee Talk and those looking forward to Afterlove EP.

Mohammad Fahmi, the creator of Coffee Talk and Afterlove EP, has passed away over the weekend at 32 years old. At the time of writing, a cause of death was not revealed to the public.

Today we received a devastating news that Fahmi, the creator & writer of Coffee Talk, has passed away. May his soul rest in peace, and our hearts are with his family and loved ones.

May all the good things he shared, story he wrote, live on with us forever.

Fahmi is best known for designing and writing Coffee Talk, although he also served as one of Gameloft’s game designers for some time and had a hand in editorial games writing for Tech In Asia Indonesia as well. Following his work on Coffee Talk, Fahmi left Toge Productions and went independent as “Fahmitsu”. His next game Afterlove EP was due to launch in Summer 2022, although the status of the project is now unknown in light of this saddening event.
