Earlier this week, during Nintendo’s E3 Direct, Netflix revealed a new Switch game based on their upcoming Dark Crystal Prequel series – Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics.

Premiering on Netflix on August 30th, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel to Jim Henson’s high fantasy puppet animatronic film Dark Crystal. The tie-in Switch game Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a tactical strategy game which allows fans to play through the events of the series, in a similar vein to Netflix’s other tie-in Switch game Stranger Things 3.

The highly anticipated Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics comes to life as a thrilling tactical strategy game! In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, fans can experience the fantasy world of Thra by playing through – and going beyond – the events of the series. Players will even encounter never-seen-before playable characters, stories and environments. The game is scheduled to launch in 2019.
