Dataminers Discover New Data For “Purified Pokemon” In Pokemon GO

Dataminer Chrales has discovered what appears to be a new form of Pokemon heading to Pokemon GO.

The details were pulled from Pokemon GO’s latest update on Android, where the files make mention of a new Pokedex stat called “Purified Pokemon”. The concept of “purifying” Pokemon hasn’t cropped up in mainline games before, but was a central mechanic in the spin-off titles Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness.

It is currently unknown if “Purified Pokemon” in Pokemon GO follow the same mechanic, or if it is something totally different. If it is the same mechanic as in Colosseum and XD however, it is likely that “Shadow Pokemon” would be making an appearance also, although this is just speculation. We will bring more details from official sources when they become available.
