Diablo III: Eternal Collection Producer Calls Nintendo Switch The Best Platform For The Game

Today, Diablo III: Eternal Collection finally released in Japan for Nintendo Switch, almost two months after its initial debut in the west.

Matt Cederquist, the producer of Diablo III: Eternal Collection, shared a message to fans living in Japan to celebrate this special day. First, Cerderquist said he was very elated to welcome Japanese players back to the Diablo world of Sanctuary.

Although it’s been 18 years since Blizzard released a game on a Nintendo platform, Cerderquist called the Switch the “most ideal platform” to exterminate demons.

Cederquist said he was very grateful that Nintendo worked with Blizzard as a partner for a variety of things. As Diablo III: Eternal Collection is Blizzard’s debut title on the Switch, he hopes players will enjoy it.

Thanks to the Switch, players could now play Diablo III anywhere on the go. Cederquist is now waiting to hear what Japanese fans think about the game. Last but not least, the producer thanked fans for their support.
