Media Create has released last week’s sales data for the video game market in Japan, for the period between April 30 and May 6, 2018.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which launched on Nintendo Switch last week, debuted No. 1 on the sales charts. The game moved 88,421 units at launch week.
Meanwhile, Nintendo Labo Variety Kit (No. 3, 32,244 copies), Kirby Star Allies (No. 4, 31,377 copies), and Splatoon 2 (No. 5, 29,850 copies) continue to perform strongly on the charts, all of which are Nintendo Switch titles.
