Last week, Gregg Mayles, the person who named King K. Rool, shared his surprise at the villain’s inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
As his original tweet has become very popular, Mayles decided to share a few tidbits about King K. Rool and Donkey Kong Country. First, he shared some concept art of the Kremlins and tough-looking King K. Rool called “Krudd”:
Mayles then shared a piece of paper which shows Donkey Kong Country was originally going to be named “Monkey Mayhem” and King K. Rool was called “Kommander”.
