This year, we found out that Nintendo is remodeling their Yamauchi-era headquarters into a hotel as part of a project codenamed Kabuyama.

Doug Bowser, President of Nintendo of America, has acknowledged the existence of the hotel on his personal Twitter account. It seems he was in Kyoto for some business this week. Perhaps more interestingly he’s looking forward to stay at the hotel when it opens in 2021:
