It looks like FAIRY TAIL fans will unfortunately have to wait a little longer before they can enjoy the series’ official videogame adaptation.
Koei Tecmo has announced that it will be pushing back the western release date of the RPG to 26 June 2020 for Nintendo Switch and PS4. According to the game’s producer Keisuke Kikuchi, this delay will give the development team more time to polish up the game further.

Burlingame, Calif. – February 6, 2020 – KOEI TECMO America and developer GUST Studios announced today that their upcoming magical JRPG, FAIRY TAIL, will now be released in North America on June 26, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and on June 25, 2020 for Windows PC via Steam®.
