Fan’s Post On Peach Mascot Mask Triggers Twitter “Sensitive Content” Flag

Apologies To all the kids who have he realise that the Princess Peach mascots you see have someone in it.

Twitter user @MarioBrothBlog’s account recently received a sensitive content warning from Twitter. The reason? He posted a picture of an actor putting on his Princess Peach Costume for a North American Mario Superstar Baseball commercial.

The picture apparently caught the eyes of Twitter’s “sensitive content” bots and his account was subsequently flagged as containing sensitive content. @MarioBrothBlog even tried posting the same pictures on a few other twitter accounts and within 10 seconds each of the accounts were also flagged.

Thinking positively, I think parents might appreciate Twitter’s efforts to preserve the magic for children who dangerously surf the Twittersphere. However, @MarioBrothBlog is determined to correct this error and has pinned the picture on his twitter page to make a stand until the situation is resolved.
