Fire Emblem: Three Houses Completely Dominates Japanese Sales Charts This Week

Famitsu has announced the video game sales rankings for Japan from the period of July 22 to July 28, 2019.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses debuted at No. 1 in Japan, with 143,130 copies sold. While this pales in comparison with past entries on the 3DS, these numbers totally trashed Tsuri Spirits Nintendo Switch Version – which only sold 47,700 copies at the No. 2 spot!

Crawling in at 3rd place was Super Mario Maker 2, which definitely slowed down in sales with only 37,941 copies sold this week. Similarly, Rune Factory 4 Special made a weaker debut with just 37,916 copies moved in its first few days on shelves.

Surprisingly, Nintendo Switch hardware sales continued to plummet downwards. The console only moved 42,689 this week, compared to 45,596  last week. Check out all these figures in more detail below:
