The official Fire Emblem Twitter account has updated with some new details about the Blacksmith, a core gameplay mechanic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

As one could probably guess, the Blacksmith is an NPC that can help players strengthen your weapons using materials obtained from group assignments or quests. The Blacksmith can be found at the market, and has the ability to improve the Attack power of weapons without adding to their weight.

This means that players will be able to equip stronger weapons to their characters without sacrificing their Attack Speed, allowing for more potential Follow-Up attacks. Some weapons may even become lighter after the Blacksmith has worked on them.
