Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, have sued a former QA contractor for leaking confidential information about Fortnite.
According to the lawsuit, former QA contractor Thomas Hannah revealed to a third party about spoilers for the fourth season of in-game events. Epic Games claims the third party whom Hannah told these details of posted them on Reddit, but the posts have since been taken down.
Epic Games is now demanding damages and legal fees as it “has suffered and is continuing to suffer irreparable injury”. Hannah, meanwhile, has called for these claims to be dismissed as he insisted the information was shared in a private conversation and he had no idea what followed thereafter.
