A while ago, we reported that an actor on the show “The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air” was planning to sue Epic Games for the use of their Carlton dance from the show with the games “Fresh” emote.
But now we have an update coming from TMZ! The official U.S. Copyright Office informed the actor’s law that their case isn’t valid due to it just being a a simple dance move!
They officially stated:
“The combination of these three dance steps is a simple routine that is not registrable as a choreographic work.”
This is very big for Epic Games as it may mean other lawsuits for other dances included in the game such Orange Justice or the Floss ma not succeed!
If we have any more information to share we will cover it here at NintendoSoup so stay tuned for more!
