The Pokemon Company has started another special Max Raid Event for Pokemon Sword And Shield.

This time, the event revolves around Gigantamax forms of the Kanto Starter trio, along with Ditto and several early game Pokemon introduced in Sword and Shield.

The list of featured Pokemon can be found below:

• Ditto
• Rookidee, Corvisquire
• Chewtle, Drednaw
• Blipbug, Dottler
• Sizzlipede, Centiskorch
• Wooloo, Dubwool
• Gigantamax Venusaur
• Gigantamax Blastoise
• Gigantamax Charizard

Presumably, this event is meant to commemorate Pokemon Day 2022, and is the Pokemon Sword And Shield part of the weeklong special announcements that were teased earlier this week. To activate this event, players must enter the Mystery Gift menu and select “Get Wild Area News”.
