Grandia And Grandia II To Support Dual Audio, More Details Revealed

GungHo has revealed tons of new information to Game Informer about Grandia and Grandia II, HD remasters heading to Nintendo Switch this winter.

Both Grandia games will support Japanese audio (Japanese audio, English subtitles), and many improvements have been made such as higher quality cinematic videos, user interface, and sprites. We’ve also learned that the Grandia collection is heading to North America and Europe only, with no plans for release in Japan.

  • The source code of PS1 and Sega Saturn has been used
  • Support for gamepad and keyboard with reimplantable controls

Grandia II

  • Digitally converted game manual
  • The source code of Grandia II Anniversary Edition, which was originally based on the source code of Sega Dreamcast, has been used
  • Arrangements in PC video / audio desynchronization and switch to XInput
  • Add the possibility to exit to the title screen
  • Japanese subtitles added to the Switch version
