Guide: How To Craft All Pine Cone And Acorn DIY Recipes For Animal Crossing: New Horizons

With the arrival of September, many Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are now enjoying new surprises in the game’s Autumn season.

These surprises include new seasonal crafting materials in the form of pine cone and acorns, which are essential for a new round of seasonal DIY items. You can find quick guide about these materials and DIY items below:

Gathering Pine cones and Acorns

  • Pine cones and Acorns have a chance of falling from trees during the Autumn season during the following months:
    • Northern hemisphere: 9/1~12/11
    • Southern hemisphere: 3/1~6/11
  • Players can gather an unlimited supply of these items just by shaking trees continuously

Pine cones And Acorns Recipes

There are a total of 11 Autumn DIY recipes that require pinecones and acorns to craft. These DIY recipes can only be obtained from popping balloons during the Fall season, so make sure to have your slingshot ready at all times!

Two of these recipes (Tree’s Bounty Big Tree, Tree’s Bounty Arch) will require another seasonal material called Maple Leaves to craft. Maple leaves will only begin appearing in November for the Northern hemisphere, and in May for the Southern hemisphere.

If you wish to craft all the pinecone and acorn recipes, you will require around about  31 Pine Cones and 35 Acorns (big thanks to GameWith and Animal Crossing World for compiling this list):
