Hacker Successfully Imports Cut Pokemon Into Pokemon Sword And Shield

SciresM, a member of Project Pokemon and the Nintendo Switch hacking community, has successfully imported a Pokemon that does not appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield into the games.

The hacker easily imported an Omastar into the game by editing a Yamper. The model of Omastar imported into Sword and Shield comes from the Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee games. Here’s Omastar, wiggling about in Pokemon Sword and Shield:

While Omastar could also be brought into battle, some of its animations are broken. That said, Omastar was still able to complete a battle without any difficulties. It’s important to note that Omastar’s stats aren’t accurate as it’s built on an edited Yamper, but SciresM confirms it’s possible to change its stats in the code manually.

Perhaps one day we will see all the Pokemon return to the game thanks to the efforts of hackers, assuming they are willing to move ahead with some sort of plan.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks, Yoyu.
