Natsume has announced Harvest Moon: Mad Dash for the Nintendo Switch, with a first look scheduled for E3 2019.

Apart from its title, not much details about this new game was revealed. Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa promises that the game will be a ” different take on the Harvest Moon experience” that “will let players enjoy the classic features of the series in a new and exciting way”.

The wording of his statement suggests that this game may be a spin-off title rather than a mainline Harvest Moon game, but nothing is certain as of this writing. Harvest Moon: Mad Dash will be part of Natsume’s lineup for E3 this year, along with Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure and Cosmic Defenders. We will bring more news as it comes.

Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, today revealed its full Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019 lineup. The lineup includes a new spinoff to the Harvest Moon family of games for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Also, on-hand at the show will be the upcoming Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4) and the first title in Natsume’s Indie Program, Cosmic Defenders (Nintendo Switch).

“We are excited to announce a new Harvest Moon game and reveal a first look at its gameplay and features at E3 2019,” said Hiro Maekawa, President & CEO of Natsume. “Fans might be surprised at what we have in store for Harvest Moon this year. This different take on the Harvest Moon experience will let players enjoy the classic features of the series in a new and exciting way!”
