Awhile back, Custom Robo creator Kouji Kenjou revealed a new project for Nintendo Switch: Synaptic Drive.

Today, he finally showed off gameplay footage of the 3D combat game – which may look extremely familiar to Custom Robo fans. It features robots with various weapons, fighting each other inside a small square-shaped arena.

Clearly, Kouji Kenjou hasn’t forgotten his roots. While still early in development, the game looks to be a solid spiritual successor!
