Astral Chain, a new Nintendo Switch game developed by PlatinumGames, is coming to Nintendo Switch this August.

Hideki Kamiya, director at PlatinumGames, recently put out a tweet saying there are probably many people that think “Astral Chain is yet another action game from PlatinumGames”, so he had to clarify that the project is a “whole new challenge” for PlatinumGames.

Kamiya elaborated that the dual action, exploration, and “searching” gameplay mechanics were some of the challenges PlatinumGames had to face while developing Astral Chain.
