Recently, Ikumi Nakamura, the popular former creative director of GhostWire: Tokyo visited her old workplace at Platinum Games and had a chat with director Hideki Kamiya, whom she worked with on Okami.
In a video shared on her Twitter account, Nakamura and Kamiya expressed their desire to make a sequel to Okami, which was directed by Kamiya and one of the first games Nakamura worked on. As you may recall, the original Okami recently received a remaster for Switch, so now seems like the perfect time for a sequel to finally be made, provided Capcom agrees of course.
