While the rest of the world has been fighting over SNES Classic Edition pre-orders, Nintendo has announced Japan will get its turn next month.
All major brick-and-mortar and online retailers will begin accepting pre-orders for the Super Famicom Classic Mini from mid September 2017. While the exact date and time haven’t been announced yet, pre-orders for major Nintendo products in Japan usually land on a Saturday at 9am Tokyo Time.
That’s all we know so far, so we’ll keep you updated once we get more concrete details.
The Super Famicom Classic Mini launches in Japan on October 5, 2017.
