Japanese Fans Are Thanking The Malaysian Illustrator For Making Princess Bowser

Last week, Princess Bowser, also known as Bowsette, went viral on the Internet after Malaysian illustrator ayyk92 drew a comic of Bowser using the Super Crown. This eventually spurred many other artists to do the same.

In our previous report, we told you that ayyk92 was feeling stressed and flattered of the attention he was getting from creating Princess Bowser, especially in Japan. Twitter users in Japan have responded to ayyk92 with some encouraging words.

Take a look at them below:

cii335: “I’m poor at English, but please forgive me. Princess Bowser is popular in Japan now. The reason is that the appearance of Princess Bowser is what many Japanese people like. For example, horns, jagged teeth, and thick eyebrows. Thank you for creating a wonderful character!”

“I am Japanese. I am not good at English. But, I love your work. We have scared you. I’m sorry. Because your work and ideas were wonderful. English is difficult for me and I can not convey it well. However, many Japanese people admire. I was rude Excuse me…”

pururun_z: “It was a purely wonderful art. The Japanese liked it very much and many fan art was born. Thank you very much. Please be confident.”

sueyosi_reparu: “You made the road. So we came running!”

The last comment was certainly hilarious, though. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
