It seems that the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller has become the most-wanted Nintendo Switch 2 accessory in Japan.
As we reported earlier, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and microSD Express cards were the first accessories to sell out across Japanese retailers on the day Switch 2 pre-orders started. Now it seems that scalpers have jumped into the fray and are reselling the Switch 2 Pro Controller for 19,000 yen (USD131) to 25,000 yen (USD174), more than double the 9,980 yen (USD69) suggested retail price.
It’s worth noting that demand and supply for the Switch 2 Pro Controller remains stable in countries outside Japan. We’ll have to wait and see how the situation develops in Japan and other countries, especially once gamers find out that this is the quietest controller Nintendo has ever made.
