JR West Donates Pokemon GO Headmark To Tottori Prefecture

JR West, which operates train lines in the western part of Japan has donated a Pokemon GO headmark to Tottori prefecture.

The 50cm long headmark, which can be placed in front of the train, features Pikachu, a PokeStop, Pokemon GO logo, as well as the words “Pokemon GO Safari Zone Tottori Sand Dunes”. It’s to commemorate the Pokemon GO Safari Zone event which took place at the Tottori Sand Dunes in November 2017, which attracted more than 20,000 people in a day.

During the duration of the Safari Zone, a Pokemon train traveled along a section of the Tottori line, pulling in 2 to 3 times the normal passenger volume due to the high influx of railway enthusiasts and tourists.
