Kiniro no Corda: Octave Announced For Nintendo Switch In Japan

It looks like the wave of otome (maiden) visual novels coming to Nintendo Switch isn’t stopping anytime soon.

Koei Tecmo just revealed Kiniro no Corda: Octave will be launching for Japanese Nintendo Switch owners on 14 February 2019. The release celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Kiniro no Corda series, bringing together 22 men from Kiniro no Corda 2 and Kiniro no Corda 3.

The story follows two routes – the ‘Festa Ending’ from Kiniro no Corda 2, and the ‘Camp Ending’ from Kiniro no Corda 3. Additionally, the game’s rhythm segments will feature 30 character songs from the series’ past, along with brand new songs.

Koei Tecmo also teased a number of special editions for the game:

  1. ‘Treasure Box’ [adds a photo library, artbook, and more]
  2. ‘Party of Blessings Box’ [focusing on Kiniro no Corda 2]
