Klonoa Ex-Developers Share Tributes For Series’ 22nd Anniversary

This week marks the 22nd anniversary of classic platforming game Klonoa: Door to Phantomile – which first debuted in Japan on 11 December 1997.

In celebration of this, the series’ former director Hideo Yoshizawa shared a new piece of artwork and a warming message for fans. Meanwhile, the series’ past composer Kohta Takahashi released a new musical arrangement as well. You can check both of them out in full below:

“Today is Klonoa‘s 22nd anniversary! Thanks for all the never-ending support! Please look after the little guy from now on as well.”

While both developers have since left Bandai Namco to pursue independent projects, it’s still nice to see their love for the games persisting today! Here’s hoping that the series receives its much-needed revival some day!
