Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fans will soon get to pit their skills against others for some lucrative rewards, once again!

Nintendo has confirmed that it will be hosting a ‘Mario Kart North American Open January 2022′ tournament from 21 – 23 January 2022 (12pm – 6pm PT each day). The competition is open to US, Canada, and Mexico citizens – with the prize being 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Coins (i.e. $25 eShop credit) for each of the top 8 players each day!

Mario Kart North American Open January 2022

Hit the drift and get your practice laps in now for the upcoming Mario Kart North American Open January 2022 tournament. Racers from the US, Canada, and Mexico will have three opportunities to go for the gold.

• January 21, 2022 12pm PT – 6PM PT
• January 22, 2022 12pm PT – 6PM PT
• January 23, 2022 12pm PT – 6PM PT

Hop in to play in one Tournament Day or all three if you’re feeling it! To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the Tournament Period. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game: Online Play, Tournaments, Search by Code. Enter the following code to enter the in-game tournament.
