During a play session of Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, Junichi Masuda briefly commented on the Poke Ball Plus’ vibration feature.

The Game Freak director said Poke Ball Plus offers superior rumble functionality over the Joy-Con, even when comparing to the Joy-Con’s HD Rumble.

Masuda also clarified that the superior experience wasn’t due to the spherical shape of the Poke Ball Plus, but rather the components that generate the vibration.
