Masuda: Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee Required 100 People To Develop

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have sent out an email to thank players in Japan for playing Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.

Inside the email is a message from Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda. In the message, Masuda starts off by asking the player how’s their adventure going, whether they’re enjoying their time with Pikachu/Eevee, and have they tried changing their Partner Pokemon’s hairstyle.

Masuda then revealed a few details on the development on Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee. He said there were roughly 100 members who worked in the development team for Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee, and there were many difficulties they face in their challenge to bring Pokemon to Nintendo Switch.

The result of these difficulties was a game that lets players be close to their Pokemon, Masuda felt. Masuda ended off his message by saying he was happy to see players enjoying themselves with the new Poke Ball Plus and multiplayer features in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
