A strange and widespread issue has been reported by Mexican gamers who pre-ordered a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from Amazon Mexico.

According to the report, multiple customers have received DVDs of movies such as “In the Tornado” and “Only in House 2” instead of their copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Many were furious with what they had received and thought Amazon cheated them.

It appears this was after all a mistake from Amazon, but the cause behind this is unknown. Customers who contacted Amazon Mexico later received their game and were told they could keep the DVD for free.
