Microsoft Appears In The Copyright Notes For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

As you all know, Banjo Kazooie, a highly requested character for the Super Smash Bros. series, has finally become a reality for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Banjo Kazooie is a character owned by Rare. Rare was acquired by Microsoft from Nintendo many years ago, so many believed the chances of Banjo Kazooie appearing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were slim.

Now it seems that Microsoft played a huge role in approving Banjo Kazooie, as the copyright notes for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate now include Microsoft rather than Rare as the IP owner for Banjo Kazooie.

This goes to show how much closer Microsoft and Nintendo have become over the years, and we have reached the point they are happy enough to lend their IP for a Nintendo game.
