Monolith Soft Profit Doubled In 2018

Monolith Soft, the makers of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, have announced how much they have earned in the financial year of 2018.

Last year, Monolith Soft recorded a net profit of 274,990,000 yen, equivalent to about USD2.54 million:

This is more than double what the studio made in the 2017 fiscal year. That year, Monolith Soft made a net profit of 138,000,000 yen, or USD1.27 million. This means they have doubled their profit in one year.

A huge jump in profit in such a small span of time shows that Monolith Soft has been doing well. Don’t forget that the company has been on a hiring spree since late 2018.

What do you think?
