More Fake Switch Pro Controllers And Bootleg Joy-Con Appear In China

Last year, we reported to you about a fake Nintendo Switch Pro Controller that look and work exactly the same way as the original controller except for a few differences.

It seems that the Chinese bootleggers from China have upped their game as counterfeit Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Splatoon 2, and even Super Smash Bros. Ultimate themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers have hit the market:

As you can see, the fake controllers look almost identical to the real thing. The only thing setting them apart are the lack of Nintendo and Nintendo Switch logos, as well as differences in packaging (lack of official logos, different font) that should be obvious to Nintendo Switch fans. It should also be mentioned that the Pro Controllers support amiibo functionality, gyroscope, and other complex features.

Besides fake Pro Controllers, fake Joy-Con have appeared in China this year, but they are called “Wireless Pro Controllers” and have different packaging:

The only advantage of buying these fake controllers is its lower price, but if you’re looking to purchase an official and authentic controller, it’s best to avoid online marketplaces such as eBay and stick to places like Amazon and Best Buy.

What do you think of these bootlegs? Let us know in the comments.
