Mortal Kombat 11 Developer Responds To Fans Complaining Over Missing Characters

Recently, nearly every character in the Mortal Kombat 11 roster was leaked from Steam Achievements which led to disappointment with many fans not getting the characters they wanted in the game.

Senior UI artist Daanish Syed responded to all of this stating they “cant please everybody” in a Reddit AMA with:

“Skarlet, Baraka, Kabal, Jade aren’t fan favs, and there’s more to come! As MK Reddit demonstrates, you cant please everybody. 30 yrs of history, no matter who we include, you can ALWAYS say “What about so-and-so”. You may not like every choice, but overall I think you’ll be happy.”

This led to many fans taking some offense to this claim so Daanish Syed issued an apology:

“To be clear, my Reddit comment was not meant negatively, I was simply using it to illustrate that there are a wide variety of tastes out there, and everybody has their own wish-list. I did not mean to invalidate anybody’s opinion!”

It seems that unlike Super Smash Bros Ultimate, the team are not able to get every character to return in Mortal Kombat 11 in order to make everyone happy as it is such a huge task.
